Shower Power

I take 15 minute showers.  Every time.  Practically to the second.  This is a skill that has taken years to hone... I consistently took upwards of 30 minute showers as a young, awkward middle school girl, relishing in the short half hour I had to myself to escape from all of my feelings of inadequacy and general gawkiness.  Plus, I liked the warm water.  After middle school, my showers became slightly shorter by necessity.  Turns out that seminary was a better motivator to make me go faster than the idea of heading to middle-school purgatory. (Barely... I wasn't a morning person at 16.)  Then again, maybe it was Kelsie's screeches in the morning telling me to hurry up, we were already 15 minutes late...  Actually that sounds more like it.  After graduation I went to the dorms, where I shared 5 showers with 60 girls.   Maybe I exaggerate.  But shower time became more dreaded in Hinckley Hall, probably due to the fact that I had to wear flip-flops and other people's hair was clogging the drain.  And girls would pee in them.  Ew.   Upon moving into apartments, I developed the habit of listening to music while in the shower, which probably added some minutes to my allotted shower time, but makes it tremendously more enjoyable.  There's nothing like some good Reggaeton in the morning to wake a person up!  So now I take fifteen minutes consistently.  You can see how hard I have worked at this timing.  It's been a developing part of my character since pre-pubescence.

Problem:  My current water heater holds precisely FOURTEEN minutes of warm water.

Yeah.
